Zusammenfassung

IATA Switzerland in Geneva offers a 6-11 month internship in the Corporate Finance Team. You will assist with the finance close, review reconciliations, and support consolidation-related analysis to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

You will use Excel, Power BI, SAP BW, and SharePoint, gaining practical exposure to monthly close, reporting packages, dashboards, and governance documentation. English communication is essential, and hybrid work is available.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in progress or completed in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Interest in financial reporting, consolidation, accounting processes or finance transformation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidence working with financial data.
• Good Excel skills; exposure to SAP, Power BI, SharePoint or other reporting tools would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.

Aufgaben

• Support monthly consolidation reporting, and preparation of finance reporting packages.
• Assist with account reconciliations, close monitoring, and follow-up of data quality exceptions.
• Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend reviews for accurate reporting.
• Maintain and enhance finance KPI reports, dashboards using Excel, Power BI, SAP BW and SharePoint.
• Support reporting automation, process improvements, and standardization within the close and reporting cycle.
• Maintain governance documentation, KPI definitions, reporting schedules, and process documentation.
• Track finance actions and project updates using JIRA and collaboration tools.

About the team you are joining

You will join the Corporate Finance Team, acollaborative and internationally minded team supporting accurate, timely andreliable financial reporting across the organization. The team works closelywith regional finance teams and corporate stakeholders, combining accountingexpertise, analytical thinking and process improvement to support the monthlyclose and consolidation. What your day would be like

In this role, you will contribute to the financeclose and reporting process by helping prepare reporting packages, reviewingfinancial data, following up on reconciliations and supportingconsolidation-related analysis. You may work on data quality checks, varianceanalysis, KPI reporting, dashboard updates, process documentation andautomation initiatives. Your work will help improve the accuracy, consistencyand efficiency of financial reporting and will give you practical exposure tocorporate finance, consolidation and statutory reporting activities

• Assist with account reconciliations, close monitoring, and follow-up of outstanding items or data quality exceptions.
• Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend reviews to support accurate management and corporate reporting.
• Maintain and enhance finance KPI reports, dashboards, and monitoring tools using Excel, Power BI, SAP BW, SharePoint, and other reporting tools.
• Support reporting automation, process improvements, and standardization initiatives within the finance close and reporting cycle.
• Maintain governance documentation, KPI definitions, reporting schedules, and process documentation.
• Track finance action items, project updates, and continuous improvement initiatives using JIRA and other collaboration tools.
