Michael Page International (Switzerland) SA seeks an experienced finance professional to lead end-to-end finance activities in a dynamic, project-driven environment on an initial assignment of up to 9 months in Basel.

You will build complex financial models for customer proposals, manage month-end close, support forecasting and budgeting, and provide insights to drive strategic decisions, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

• Manage month-end closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting


• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes


• Perform project controlling and analyse project financial performance


• Develop and maintain complex financial models for customer proposals and business cases


• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making


• Collaborate closely with operational, commercial, and project teams


• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across finance systems and reports


• Utilise SAP and reporting tools to drive financial analysis and performance tracking

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field


• Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling, finance business partnering, or project controlling


• Strong background in month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis


• Proven experience building sophisticated financial models in Excel


• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills


• Strong SAP experience; knowledge of SAP BW and Power BI is advantageous


• Excellent analytical and data interpretation capabilities
  
• Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are beneficial
