Zusammenfassung

ETH AI Center invites post-doctoral researchers to join its interdisciplinary fellowship program spanning AI foundations, applications, and implications. Fellows conduct research on a project of their choosing, collaborate with two supervising PIs, and participate in faculty retreats and events.

The center provides a primary office, mentorship, and opportunities to pursue entrepreneurial or industry tracks. Starting dates are flexible, with typical start in September 2027.

Qualifikationen

• You either already hold a PhD or will complete your doctorate at least 3 months before the fellowship start.
• Background in AI or related fields (computer science, physics, engineering, applied mathematics).
• English proficiency to discuss and report findings in writing.
• Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration and solving problems together.

Aufgaben

• Conduct research that advances the future of AI.
• Develop and propose an individual project and collaborate with two supervising PIs.
• Engage with faculty retreats, symposia, and support a potential entrepreneurial or industry track.
