Job summary

Casa Depuoz invites applications for a special needs teacher with class teacher function for its recently opened primary school class in Tamins, 50-100% job sharing possible. The role focuses on teaching primary pupils with individual support goals and close collaboration with the cantonal special education team.

You will develop learning and care plans, accompany children in their educational, personal and social development, and participate in meetings with staff and guardians.

Qualifications

• Degree in school special education or equivalent teaching diploma.
• Empathetic and appreciative personality essential for this role.
• Flexibility and resilience, with a passion for teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Teach primary school taking into account individual learning goals.
• Develop support goals within the school and care team.
• Accompany, support and care for the children in their educational, personal and social learning processes.
• Active exchange with other teaching and care staff as well as with the legal guardians.
• Preparation for and participation in events with the legal guardians.
• Participation in coordination, team and information meetings.
• Completion of administrative tasks in class and school management.
• Participation in cross-class and cross-departmental activities of the institution.
