TomFit AG in Zürich is expanding its TomBot product line. You will work onsite to understand customer needs, brainstorm improvements, and build prototypes that translate into real, tested features for our AI-powered training platform.

We seek a curious, responsible engineer who can take ownershi p and drive iterations with the studio team, aligning hardware and software to enhance user training experiences.

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical or mechatronics background with hands-on experience in fitness equipment.
• Curious, takes initiative, and communicates with customers.
• On-site in Zürich Stettbach; fluent German and good English.

We're TomFit, an AI-native physical health provider. We build our own training machine and our own studios, and we scale out of Zürich.We combine a new kind of strength training machine, the TomBot, with a software platform and AI. That lets people create, execute, and monitor a personal training programme that actually adapts to them. Deeply integrated diagnostics allow us to tailor every exercise to the user for targeted, effective, and efficient training.As a small, interdisciplinary team of 25 across engineering, product, and operations, we currently run three hubs with more than a dozen machines deployed. Over the next 12 months we are scaling to ten studios across Zürich. We work pragmatically, dynamically, and in a data-driven way.The machine exists. The platform exists. The studios are opening. Now it is about developing the TomBot further and turning it into a product that sets new standards.That is where you come in.We are looking for the innovator and the builder. • Close to customers: You go where our customers train. You listen. You look closely. You recognise what can be better.
• Ideas: You take on or develop ideas. Or you make good ideas even better.
• Prototypes: You build prototypes. You test. You discard. You start again. Until an idea becomes a product that excites.

Who you are

• Mechanical engineer, mechatronics engineer, or at a comparable technical level with experience, ideally in apparatus engineering for fitness and health.
• Above all, you are curious.
• You get things done. You take responsibility.
• You are not afraid of customer contact.
• You do not just want to develop. You want to change things.
• We generally work on-site in Zürich Stettbach. This is an on-site role because the product is physical: you see members train, work in the studio, and iterate with the team in the same room.
• Very good German, good English in spoken and written form.
