Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new techniques for extremely large scale software systems; help deploy mitigations and transition to memory safe languages such as Rust.
• Build partnerships with partner teams in Google's Memory Safety program and with industry and academia.
• Fix memory safety across Google products from research to engineering.
• Research and apply innovative techniques for memory safety, from program analysis to machine learning.
