Thales in Switzerland is seeking an Information Security Specialist / Deputy CISO to strengthen our information security program in Aarau. This role offers hybrid work and flexible part-time or full-time models to fit your needs.

You will assess risks, develop security concepts and procedures, plan security awareness, and support audits and compliance efforts, including regulatory requirements. Excellent German and English skills are essential as you collaborate with the CISO, business units,

Qualifikationen

• Vocational training or degree in information security management or relevant professional experience.
• Ability to identify and assess security risks independently and effectively.
• Experience developing and maintaining security concepts, policies, processes and documentation to a high standard.
• Understanding of information security requirements in legal, regulatory, contractual, audit and compliance contexts.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in the security field; an interest in data protection is an advantage.
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• A proactive, resilient and collaborative approach, with clear communication and a service-oriented manner.

Your Mission

Assess information security risks by identifying assets, security objectives, threats and appropriate risk treatment measures. Develop and maintain security concepts, policies, guidelines and operational procedures. Create and continuously improve security processes and working instructions. Plan and deliver security awareness and training for employees across the organization. Translate legal, regulatory and contractual information security requirements into practical guidance for relevant business areas and external partners. Support information security as part of audits, compliance, incident management and risk management activities. Support the CISO and represent information security in projects, certifications and regular security assessments, including ISO 27001, ISO 14298 and PCI-CP.

Your Experience

• Completed vocational training or degree in information security management, or relevant professional experience in information security.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess security risks independently and effectively.
• Experience developing and maintaining security concepts, policies, processes and documentation to a high standard.
• Understanding of information security requirements in legal, regulatory, contractual, audit and compliance contexts.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in the security field; an interest in data protection is an advantage.
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• A proactive, resilient and collaborative approach, combined with clear communication and a professional, service-oriented manner.
