UNICEF is seeking an Information Management Officer in Geneva to support ECW information flows, data collection, analysis and visualization across teams. You will help implement IM standards, test innovative solutions including AI, and ensure timely, quality reporting for partner services.

The role requires a university degree in information management or IT, 2+ years in data management, strong Excel and Power Query skills, and familiarity with SharePoint or similar platforms.

Qualifikationen

• First University Degree in information management, information technology or related field.
• Minimum two years of professional work experience in data and information management, data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with data capture, cleaning, storage and translating data into clear tables, charts and reports.
• Familiarity with cloud tools (e.g., SharePoint) and setting user access rights.
• Strong organizational, communication and facilitation skills; ability to coordinate across teams.

Aufgaben

• Ensure coherent information management policies, procedures and systems for UNICEF ECW operations.
• Maintain distribution lists to ensure proper recipient targeting.
• Quality assure results reporting, IM and data-visualization outputs.
• Update and maintain collaboration sites.
• Foster relations with UNICEF/UNOPS and other agencies.
• Carry out other information management tasks as required.
