Qualifikationen

• BSc/MSc in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong Python programming and image-analysis interest.
• Experience with CAD and manufacturing drawings.
• Interest in computer vision, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience in lab/shop environments.

Aufgaben

• Develop the existing functional prototype into a robust measurement system for industrial use.
• Design and detail mechanical components in CAD, including housing and mounts.
• Integrate optical, mechanical, motion, and control components into a standalone unit and establish a repeatable image-acquisition procedure.
• Develop Python-based image-processing and annotation workflows and train segmentation models for automated feature detection.
