Big Science Sweden is seeking a professional to provide support for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) to ensure occupational health and safety standards. This role includes conducting workplace assessments, leading air quality studies, and developing guidelines for ventilation systems.

The candidate will act as the safety correspondent for certain projects, requiring expertise in safety matters and ventilation system design. This is an impactful position aimed at enhancing workplace safety at CERN.

• Provide technical and safety requirements for ventilation and filtration systems.
• Conduct on-site air quality assessments, measure indoor pollutants, and propose solutions.
• Investigate air quality incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead IAQ studies for complex projects, including calculations and airflow modeling.
• Develop IAQ guidelines and procedures for the Organisation.

Jobbeschreibung

You will provide support to the Organisation in matters of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) for occupational Health & Safety. This includes requirements for the design of air management systems, performing on-site workplace assessments and leading air quality studies for specific projects.

Your responsibilities

• Provide technical and safety requirements for the design and retrofit of ventilation and filtration systems.
• Conduct on-site workplace air quality assessments, measuring different indoor pollutants, analysing the results and proposing solutions.
• Investigate incidents related to air quality, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead complex Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) studies for high-risk and/or high-complexity projects. Perform ventilation / filtration rate calculations and airflow modelling
• Perform ventilation / filtration rate calculations and airflow modelling.
• Develop IAQ guidelines, procedures, best practices and other engineering solutions for the Organisation.
• Act as Safety correspondent and become the single point of contact in matters of safety, for some CERN-specific projects.
