Job summary

International Trade Centre (ITC) in Geneva seeks a professional to support the development, implementation and monitoring of designated projects within the Africa Trade Competitiveness and Market Access programme. The role focuses on multi-disciplinary technical assistance, data analysis and coordination with partners across ECOWAS and SADC regions.

The position requires a minimum of two years’ progressively responsible experience in project/programme management, with exposure to SME

Qualifications

First-level university degree in business administration, management, economics, environment studies, sustainable development or related field.
An advanced degree in the above subjects may be considered in lieu of work experience.

Responsibilities

Carries out basic research on programmes, operations and activities, including data collection and analysis from diverse sources.
Assists in policy coordination and evaluation functions; supports consulting assignments and prepares action plans with clients.
Contributes to final written outputs: background papers, analytical notes, reports and studies.
Provides administrative and substantive support to meetings, including agenda topics, participants, background documents and logistics.
Assists in outreach, training workshops and presentations on assigned topics.
Participates in field missions and supports data collection and logistics.
Coordinates budget-related activities and prepares related documents and reports.
