Job summary

International Trade Centre (ITC) in Geneva seeks an Associate Programme Officer to support the ATCMA programme across Africa. You will conduct research, analyze data, support policy coordination and evaluations, and assist in workshops and field missions.

You will help prepare reports and participate in outreach activities to promote SME export competitiveness and inclusive growth. The role emphasizes gender- and youth-led businesses, with collaboration across UNIDO and EU-funded initiatives,

Qualifications

• First-level university degree required in business administration, economics, or related field.
• Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on programmes and operations and analyze data.
• Provide substantive support for policy coordination and evaluation.
• Assist in workshops and develop action plans for assignments.
• Prepare background papers, reports, and assist in meetings and conferences.
• Support outreach activities, including training workshops, and field missions for data collection.
