Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: University/college degree required; Masters or PhD preferred.
• Experience: At least 8 years of pharmaceutical/scientific experience; 6+ years medical writing experience; 2+ years people management preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong written/oral communication for cross-functional discussions.
• Expert project/time management and leadership across programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize all types of clinical documents.
• Lead in a team environment and guide cross-functional teams.
• Independently manage content, timing, and strategy for assigned projects.
• Lead or set objectives for team projects and training of others.
• Coach junior writers and coordinate with external contractors as needed.
• Represent Medical Writing in industry standards groups.
• Manage direct reports and oversee career development discussions.
