Job summary

NVIDIA in Zürich invites you to join a multidisciplinary team developing GPU and CPU accelerated software libraries. You will help design and implement algorithms for image and data processing used in AI, HPC, and medical applications, mentored by senior engineers.

This internship emphasizes hands-on software engineering, API design, performance analysis, and exploring numerical edge cases. You’ll contribute to new libraries and potentially extend existing ones, collaborating with partners

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or related field.
• Programming skills in C/C++, Python.
• Parallel or GPU programming experience (AVX, NEON, OpenMP, MPI, CUDA or OpenCL).
• Experience with image coding (jpg, tiff) or data compression algorithms (LZW, DEFLATE).

Job description

Join our multidisciplinary team and help build and improve GPU and CPU accelerated software libraries. Starting from powering AI, data analytics, image processing, computer vision, and scientific simulations for leading commercial and academic organizations worldwide.

In this role you will be part of our team responsible for the development of libraries that provide groundbreaking functionality and performance. The internship may include extending the capabilities of existing as well as building new libraries that will be used in various AI, HPC or medical applications. It will involve working with senior software engineers who will provide mentorship and guidance. The project will include implementing new image and data processing algorithms, defining APIs, analyzing performance, finding appropriate solutions for difficult numerical corner cases, and other general software engineering work.

What We Need To See

Our internship pay is based on the position, your location, year in school, degree, and experience. For Poland: the annual range for our interns is 117,750 PLN - 204,100 PLN. (pro-rated for the duration of the internship).
