InternHunt Zürich is looking for an Image and Data Processing Libraries Intern to help build GPU- and CPU-accelerated libraries powering AI, data analytics, and computer vision. You will contribute to extending existing libraries and creating new ones used in AI, HPC, and medical applications.

You will work with senior engineers, receive mentorship, and help implement new algorithms, define APIs, and analyze performance across diverse projects in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or related field
• Parallel or GPU programming experience (AVX, NEON, OpenMP, MPI, CUDA or OpenCL)
• Experience with image coding (jpg, tiff, etc) or data compression algorithms (LZW, DEFLATE, etc)

Role Description

Join our multidisciplinary team and help build and improve GPU and CPU accelerated software libraries. Starting from powering AI, data analytics, image processing, computer vision, and scientific simulations for leading commercial and academic organizations worldwide.

In this role you will be part of our team responsible for the development of libraries that provide groundbreaking functionality and performance. The internship may include extending the capabilities of existing as well as building new libraries that will be used in various AI, HPC or medical applications. It will involve working with senior software engineers who will provide mentorship and guidance. The project will include implementing new image and data processing algorithms, defining APIs, analyzing performance, finding appropriate solutions for difficult numerical corner cases, and other general software engineering work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Research, analyze, and document state-of-the art algorithms
• Develop algorithms for image and data compression and processing
• Analyze and improve performance of existing implementations

Our internship pay is based on the position, your location, year in school, degree, and experience. For Poland: the annual range for our interns is 117,750 PLN - 204,100 PLN. (pro-rated for the duration of the internship).
