Job summary

LGT Capital Partners Ltd. in Zürich seeks a Student Support intern to join the Private Markets Transaction Tax and Tax Structuring team.

This full-time role during semester breaks offers flexibility to work three days a week while studying, and a pathway to grow professionally in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates are pursuing a law or tax degree, with excellent English writing skills and a strong interest in tax risk management for private market investments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor or beginning of master’s degree in Law or a related Legal and/or Tax subject.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills, including experience in an English-speaking environment.
• Strong interest in enhancing financial acumen and broadening knowledge of tax risk management in private markets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of tax workstreams related to private equity, infrastructure, private credit and other investments.
• Support process improvement initiatives and digital tools usage within the team.
• Help manage the team inbox and coordinate incoming requests.
• Assist with collection, organization and filing of tax, legal and transaction-related documents.
• Review investment subscription and onboarding documentation for completeness and consistency.
• Prepare document packages and support signing and execution processes for investments.
• Maintain transaction trackers, internal databases and reporting tools.
• Organize documents from fund managers, service providers and advisors.
• Support preparation of presentations, status updates and internal meeting materials.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external counsel and tax advisors on administrative matters.
