Job summary

Grant Thornton Switzerland/Liechtenstein is offering a hands-on internship in our Geneva tax practice. You will work under senior guidance to prepare tax returns for individuals and entities, and assist with correspondence with tax authorities.

Ideal candidates are current Bachelor’s or Master’s students in business, law, economics or related fields, with an interest in tax compliance and advisory work. Fluency in French and English is valued, and the team is international and supportive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s student or recent graduate in a related field.
• First exposure to legal or tax work is an advantage.
• Structured, analytical and detail-oriented approach.
• Interest in tax compliance and advisory work.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of tax returns for individuals and corporations under guidance of seniors.
• Assist with correspondence with tax authorities and review of tax assessments.
• Support Managers and Consultants in preparing responses to tax authorities requests.
• Assist with tax compliance tasks and select tax advisory assignments.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high quality and timely delivery of work.

• Supporting the preparation of tax returns for individuals and corporations under the guidance of senior team members
• Assisting with correspondence with tax authorities and the review of tax assessments
• Supporting Managers and Consultants in preparing responses to requests from tax authorities
• Assisting with tax compliance tasks and selected tax advisory assignments
• Working closely with the team to ensure high quality and timely delivery of work

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s student (or recent graduate) in Business Administration, Law, Economics or a related field
• First exposure to legal or tax (e.g. summer internship, working student role or assistant position) is an advantage
• Structured, analytical and detail‑oriented way of working
• Interest in tax compliance and advisory work
• Team‑oriented and proactive personality
• Very good command of French, good level of English
