Job summary

Siemens Switzerland is seeking a Quality Management professional to define and continuously enhance quality across the product life cycle of a product line within the Automation Products portfolio.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Project Management, Supplier Quality Management, Product Development, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to promote effective quality practices and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements across the defined product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Strong knowledge of quality management and prevention-oriented methods.
• Multiple years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management and change management.
• Experience with Agile and SAFe development.
• Analytical, well-organized with good communication and intercultural skills.
• Knowledge of AI applications in Quality Management, including Quality Agent creation.
• Fluent English and good written/spoken German desired.

Responsibilities

• Ensure, evaluate, and monitor the implementation of Built-in Quality principles, quality methods, and risk management practices across processes, projects, and product development activities — including 8D, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Quality Gates, and FMEA
• Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and the sharing of best practices to strengthen quality culture and organizational learning across the portfolio
• Coach and train project team members in process application and specific quality areas
• Act as Process Ambassador by driving process maturity, ensuring process adherence, and fostering efficient and harmonized ways of working across the product portfolio
• Develop and adapt communication approaches to effectively convey quality-related topics internally and to external customers
• Analyze customer quality requirements, feedback, and satisfaction to support continuous improvement and meet customer expectations
• Execute internal assessments and audits to enhance transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency in internal project (or product) development, thereby driving measurable business impact
• Collaborate with the QM network and business accountable units (e.g. Product Management, R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing etc.) to achieve quality business goals
