The UN Secretariat in Geneva offers a six-month internship in the OHCHR Older Persons Unit. The intern will assist with research, report drafting, and the creation of advocacy materials as part of a dynamic team.

Applicants should be graduate students (Master’s or final year of Bachelor's) in economics, law, political science, international relations or related fields, with fluent English. Knowledge of another UN official language is a plus; strong writing and social media content skills are

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (Master's degree or equivalent) or final year of a Bachelor's.
• Preferred fields include economics, law, political science, international relations or related social sciences.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another UN official language is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Conduct research and analysis on topics related to the rights of older persons.
• Draft reports, briefs, infographics, and other written materials.
• Support meetings, seminars and workshops with background materials and summaries.
• Assist in conceptualizing and writing projects and initiatives; support capacity-building activities.
• Create content for social media posts and newsletters to boost outreach and advocacy.
