The Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS) in Lugano seeks a Systems Engineer – Platform Automation to design, implement, and maintain HPC/AI services on a multi-tenant infrastructure. You will develop automation to provision, test, deploy and monitor resources, contributing to high‑performance computing and AI workloads.

This fixed‑term role starts with a two‑year contract with potential extension or permanent status, offering impact on platform reliability, scalability, and efficiency

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or higher in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience deploying HPC, AI, or Cloud infrastructures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tooling.
• Linux administration skills.

Aufgaben

• Investigating, troubleshooting, and debugging platform services and infrastructure resources.
• Developing, maintaining, and supporting tools and pipelines for multi-tenant infrastructure.
• Developing automations to provision, test, deploy, and monitor resources for HPC/AI platforms.
• Documentation and knowledge sharing of tools and procedures.
