Zusammenfassung

Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS) in Lugano/Zurich is seeking an HPC Systems Software Engineer to extend OpenCHAMI for CSCS’s next-generation clusters. The role focuses on developing, integrating, and deploying OpenCHAMI capabilities for scalable HPC and AI systems.

You will contribute to the OpenCHAMI ecosystem, collaborate with international partners, and help drive innovation in cloud-like deployment and automation within HPC environments.

Qualifikationen

• Strong background in HPC infrastructure management and OpenCHAMI development.
• Experience with large-scale cluster management and AI systems.
• Ability to work in international, collaborative open-source projects.

Aufgaben

• Develop and extend OpenCHAMI to meet infrastructure management needs for CSCS supercomputers.
• Contribute to the OpenCHAMI ecosystem and related cluster management services.
• Develop automation and workflows to improve provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance at scale.
• Collaborate with HPC operations teams to translate requirements into scalable OpenCHAMI solutions.
• Contribute to architecture and evolution of OpenCHAMI for scalable HPC/AI systems.
• Participate in open-source development workflows: design, test, review, and issue tracking.
