Job summary

Multi Personnel recherche une housekeeper pour une résidence privée de luxe à Verbier, Valais, en poste permanent à 100%. Vous assurerez le service quotidien et le maintien des standards d’un hôtel de luxe, prêt pour la famille et les invités.

Le candidat idéal possède une expérience dans des résidences haut de gamme ou hôtels de luxe, une grande attention aux détails, et sait travailler en autonomie avec discrétion. Le français est nécessaire; l’anglais est un plus.

Qualifications

• Expérience avérée dans des résidences privées haut de gamme ou hôtels de luxe.
• Excellente attention au détail et souci du soin des lieux.
• Indépendant(e) et fiable, capable de travailler avec peu de supervision.
• Discrétion et fiabilité indispensables; maîtrise du français et possibilité d'anglais.

Responsibilities

• Maintenir la résidence selon des standards luxe et présentation soignée.
• Gérer les tâches ménagères quotidiennes et l’inventaire des fournitures.
• Entretenir le linge et le repassage, liaison avec le pressing.
• Préparer la maison avant l’arrivée de la famille et accueillir les visiteurs.
• Assister le chef lors des dîners et superviser les prestataires et livraisons.
• Veiller à la sécurité et au bien-être des animaux si nécessaire.

Responsabilities :

Our client is looking for an experienced full-time housekeeper for their luxury home in the Valais. They want someone with a background in high-end private residences or luxury hotels who will take full responsibility for the home every day, whether the family is there or away. The ideal person is meticulous, discreet, organised and proactive, and has a warm personality that is pleasant to have around:

• Keep the whole residence to luxury-hotel standards of cleanliness and presentation, always ready for the family or guests.
• Run the household day to day on their own initiative, anticipating needs and keeping simple routines in place for cleaning, supplies and records.
• Care for fine furnishings, artwork and delicate materials with the right techniques.
• Handle laundry and ironing, and liaise with the dry cleaner.
• Unpack when the family arrives and help pack when they leave, including luggage and garment care.
• Help the chef serve and clear up at dinners when needed.
• Check the sauna and pool areas daily: fresh towels, refills, and a tidy, ready space.
• Buy groceries and household items to the family’s preferences, and keep supplies and inventory stocked.
• Prepare the home before the family arrives.
• Receive deliveries and post, let in contractors and service providers and supervise them, and report maintenance issues to the person responsible.
• Look after the cat, and a dog in future: feeding, care, and walking if needed.
• Follow security routines while the property is empty.
• Work alongside the other staff and service providers.
• Keep complete confidentiality about the family and the property.

Profile :

• Proven experience in high-end private residences or luxury hotels.
• Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of caring for luxury homes.
• Independent and reliable, able to work with little supervision.
• Warm, pleasant and trustworthy, with excellent discretion.
• A reasonable understanding of English is ideal; French is also fine.
• A driving licence is valuable but not essential. As the property is outside the village centre, it would be a big plus.
• Preferably holds a valid Swiss work permit or EU citizenship, so a work permit doesn't have to be arranged.
• Comfortable with pets.
• Excellent references.
