Speedgoat GmbH in Bern/Köniz is seeking a HIL Testing & Quality Technician to join the HIL Systems department. You will execute manual and automated tests from PCBA to system level, inspect assemblies, and support troubleshooting and rework to ensure high-quality HIL test systems reach customers.

You will collaborate with engineering and assembly teams, document results, and participate in continuous testing improvements. Fluency in English and eligibility to work in Switzerland are required.

Qualificações

• Completed apprenticeship or technical education in electronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, production testing, electronics manufacturing, quality control, or a related environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of electronics and the ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with electronic measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
• Good THT and SMD soldering and rework skills.
• Experience with PCBA inspection, electronic assembly, and identifying manufacturing or workmanship defects.
• Structured and systematic approach to testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Team player with a high degree of ownership, independence, accountability, flexibility and reliability
• Fluent English communication skills
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland

Responsabilidades

• Execute manual and automated tests at PCBA, subsystem, and complete HIL test bench level.
• Perform end-of-line testing and document test results, deviations, and identify defects.
• Perform QA/QC inspections of PCBAs and electronic assemblies, including solder joints, component placement, connectors, wiring, and overall workmanship.
• Perform THT and SMD soldering, rework, modification, and repair of electronic assemblies.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, test results, and measurement equipment.
• Use oscilloscopes, mustimeters, power supplies, signal generators, and other laboratory equipment for functional verification and fault isolation.
• Support electrical safety testing and system-level verification.
• Support FAT and SAT when required.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, assembly technicians, system engineers and project managers to resolve issues.
• Maintain test equipment, fixtures, tools, and workstations and follow ESD, electrical safety, and quality procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test procedures, quality processes, and test automation.
