Ärztekasse Genossenschaft seeks a Platform Engineering Leader to steer the CDM Cloud Platform on Kubernetes. You will guide architecture, strategy and roadmaps while ensuring high availability, security and scalability across teams.

You will mentor engineers, foster a strong culture and drive automation and GitOps practices with cross-functional partners. This role emphasizes leadership in a regulated environment and English fluency, with German and French as plusses.

Formación

• Proven experience leading platform/infrastructure teams.
• Strong background in Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience driving automation and IaC practices.
• Ability to lead, grow and motivate engineers across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, architecture and roadmap of our CDM Cloud Platform (Kubernetes)
• Ensure availability, reliability, security and scalability of the platform
• Drive automation, infrastructure as code and GitOps across the organization
• Foster a strong engineering culture and mentor team members
• Collaborate with development, security, operations and infrastructure leadership on cross-team initiatives
• Manage budget, vendors and capacity planning for the platform

Requirements

• Several years of experience in platform/infrastructure engineering, including leadership
• Strong technical background in Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture and automation
• Proven ability to lead, grow and motivate engineering teams
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on technical credibility
• Experience operating mission-critical systems in a regulated environment is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Fluent in English; German and French are a plus
