Thomson Reuters is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering for the CoCounsel Legal Mobile & Desktop Apps in Switzerland. You will lead two greenfield teams delivering native experiences across iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac, defining architecture, hiring engineers, and delivering first native apps.

Partner with Product and Design to ship accessible experiences, integrate with backend services, and own quality, performance, and CI/CD across surfaces.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading teams.
• Hands-on experience shipping production mobile (iOS/Android) or desktop (Windows/macOS) apps.
• Understanding of platform conventions, architecture patterns, distribution, and performance expectations.
• Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain engineers across multiple teams or workstreams.
• Experience integrating applications with cloud backends and REST/GraphQL APIs.

Aufgaben

• Lead and grow two engineering teams — Mobile and Desktop — hiring and developing engineers across both platforms from the ground up.
• Define the engineering approach for both mobile and desktop, making foundational technology choices and architecture patterns.
• Deliver CoCounsel Legal’s first mobile and desktop applications across iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac.
• Integrate with the CoCounsel backend, surfacing agent capabilities and user context across surfaces.
• Own quality, performance, CI/CD, crash reporting, and cross‑platform compatibility.
• Partner with Product and Design to ensure a coherent product experience across surfaces.
• Represent mobile and desktop engineering perspectives in planning with leadership.
