Job summary

ABB Robotics is seeking a leader to drive enterprise platform strategy and the SAP S/4HANA transformation across Europe. You will align business objectives with technology, standardize processes, and accelerate value realization in partnership with IS and business leaders.

You will lead a broad platforms team, manage dependencies, enable adoption, and ensure scalable solutions that support ABB's target operating model and transformation agenda in a hybrid Europe-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience leading enterprise platform, ERP, or business transformation initiatives in complex global organizations.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale business-led ERP transformations; SAP S/4HANA experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise platform strategy: define and drive the business vision, roadmap, and governance for strategic enterprise platforms.
• Lead business ownership of ERP/S/4HANA and other strategic platforms: ensure business requirements, processes, data, and operating model implications are integrated.
• Drive standardization and simplification: challenge unnecessary customization and legacy requirements to enable scalable enterprise solutions.
• Align stakeholders across the organization: bring together Business Lines, Functions, Process Excellence, Data, and IS teams for enterprise-wide decisions.
• Ensure business adoption and value realization: lead readiness, change adoption, and realization of productivity and scalability benefits.
• Manage enterprise platform dependencies and scalability: own roadmaps and dependencies across the transformation portfolio.
• Lead and develop the Platforms team: provide leadership across a broad network of stakeholders and partners.

This Position reports to: Business Transformation Manager

In this role, you will provide business leadership for ABB Robotics' strategic enterprise platforms, ensuring they enable and accelerate the company's strategy and target operating model. Working at the intersection of business transformation, processes, data, operating model, and technology, you will drive platform strategy, implementation, adoption, and value realization in close partnership with IS and business leaders.

A primary focus of the role will be leading the business side of the SAP S/4HANA transformation, ensuring technology decisions are guided by business objectives, process standardization, and long-term value creation. While technology architecture and delivery remain within IS accountabilities, you will represent the enterprise business perspective, ensuring strategic platforms support and accelerate ABB Robotics' target operating model and transformation agenda.

The location of the role is within Europe.

Your responsibilities:

• Own the enterprise platform strategy: Define and drive the business vision, roadmap, and governance for strategic enterprise platforms in alignment with ABB Robotics' strategy and target operating model.
• Lead business ownership of ERP/S/4HANA and other strategic platforms: Ensure business requirements, processes, data, and operating model implications are fully integrated before technology solutions are defined.
• Drive standardization and simplification: Challenge unnecessary customization, legacy requirements, and process complexity to enable scalable enterprise solutions.
• Align stakeholders across the organization: Bring together Business Lines, Functions, Process Excellence, Data, and IS teams to drive enterprise-wide decisions and outcomes.
• Ensure business adoption and value realization: Lead business readiness, change adoption, and realization of the productivity, efficiency, and scalability benefits delivered through platform transformations.
• Manage enterprise platform dependencies and scalability: Own and actively manage dependencies across strategic platform roadmaps, the broader business transformation portfolio, future non-organic growth initiatives, and existing business requirements, ensuring platforms remain scalable and aligned with ABB Robotics' long-term strategy.
• Lead and develop the Platforms team: Provide leadership across a broad network of business and technology stakeholders, implementation partners, and transformation teams to ensure successful delivery.

Your background:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience leading enterprise platform, ERP, or business transformation initiatives in complex global organizations.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale business-led ERP transformations; experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes, data, operating models, and their interaction with technology platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional transformations spanning business and technology, while balancing strategic objectives and operational requirements.
• Strong commercial, financial, and business acumen, combined with the ability to evaluate trade-offs and drive enterprise-wide decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior executives and achieving alignment without direct authority.
