Job summary

RUAG Inc. in Switzerland seeks a senior leader to head the Engineering division, directing day-to-day operations and ensuring objectives are met.

You will drive product and service development in collaboration with multiple departments, and support new business opportunities with sound cost estimates and technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven division leadership and operational management.
• Technology and industry expertise in sensor tech and reconnaissance systems; radar knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with cost centre responsibility and financial management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent German and English; French is an advantage.
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

What you should bring with you

• Leadership experience: Proven experience in managing a division, including operational leadership and the implementation of divisional objectives.
• Technology and industry expertise: Understanding of sensor technology and reconnaissance systems; knowledge of radar systems is an advantage. Familiarity with the Swiss defence and security sector is beneficial.
• Financial expertise: Experience in cost centre responsibility and financial management.
• Communication skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Languages: Excellent German and English skills; French is an advantage.
• Education: A degree in engineering, information and communication technology, or an equivalent qualification.
