Zusammenfassung

LHH, recruiting for a Fribourg-based client, seeks a Harness Designer with a positive mindset and strong team spirit to design and optimize wiring harness assemblies for combustion engines, while balancing technical scheduling and cost considerations.

You will define wiring topology with the E/E design team, create and manage 2D drawings and BOMs, specify cabling components, support PLM Albatros, and plan, execute and evaluate tests.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of wiring harness design experience.
• Strong know-how in MS Office, Zuken E3, PTC Creo Cabling and PLM Albatros.
• Knowledge of Zuken E3 is a plus.
• Knowledge of PTC CREA cabling is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design and optimize wiring harness assemblies for combustion engines, balancing technical scheduling and cost considerations.
• Prepare technical presentations, define wiring topology and technology approach with the E/E design team.
• Create and manage 2D drawings and bill of materials (BOM).
• Design and define cabling components (electrical cables, connectors) according to standards and functional requirements.
• Support PLM system, maintain documentation and component specifications; plan, execute and evaluate tests.

Responsibilities

As a Harness Designer you design and optimize wiring harness assemblies for combustion engines, you take account technical scheduling and financial aspects). You prepare technical presentations, define the wiring harness topology and technology approach (with E/E design team). In addition you create and manage 2D drawings, create bill of materials. Besides, you design and define the cabling components (electrical cables, connectors) according to standards, regulations and functional requirements.

You, also support the PLM system, you create and maintain documentation and component specifications. Finally, you plan, execute and evaluate tests.

Profil

• Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent
• Several years experience in wiring harness design
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Zuken E3, PTC Creo Cabling and PLM Albatros
• Knowledge of Zuken E3 isa plus
• Knowledge of PTC CREA cabling is a plus
• French fluent. Good level in English and German
