Corintis on the EPFL Campus in St. Sulpice, Switzerland, seeks a hands-on Lab Technician for Additive Manufacturing to operate in-house equipment, run DOEs, and generate structured data to link R&D and production.

You will also run the lab's laser cutting machine and provide broad hands-on support across the prototype lab. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in precision manufacturing, strong process discipline, experience with data logging, PPE, and clear reporting.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years hands-on experience with additive manufacturing or similar precision manufacturing.
• Practical understanding of how equipment setup, materials, and timing affect quality and yield.
• Experience with precision measurement equipment and data logging.
• Ability to reproduce process conditions precisely for fault investigations.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly, in reports and verbally.
• Experience handling process materials with proper PPE and safety rules.
• Ability to write auditable work instructions and procedures; willingness to learn quality/EHS frameworks.
• EHS awareness and safe operation of lab machinery.
• Hands-on experience operating a laser cutting machine or similar equipment.

Aufgaben

• Run in-house additive manufacturing equipment for DOE campaigns and design-rule validation.
• Reproduce and debug manufacturing issues from the production line.
• Prepare samples and take measurements.
• Capture and report structured data.
• Provide process recommendations.
• Act as the reliable laboratory partner to senior process engineers.
• Care for equipment and consumables.
• Operate the laser cutting machine.
• Provide general support across the prototype lab.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and procedures.
