Job summary

Adaptyv Bio seeks a hands-on engineer blending Python software with real lab hardware to keep automated experiments running. You will control liquid handlers, robot arms, and plate readers through code, linking devices into unattended work cells and fixing problems as they arise.

You should write maintainable code, enjoy taking systems apart, and debug across software and hardware with researchers. Experience with PyLabRobot or Py Hamilton is a plus in our fast-paced AI protein testing lab.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python engineering with lab hardware.
• Experience wiring, debugging, and maintaining automated lab systems.
• Ability to work independently with biologists.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain instrument drivers and control software.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in 24/7 runs.
• Integrate equipment into unattended work cells.
