Zusammenfassung

Bachem SA in Switzerland seeks a Group Leader for TechOps Laboratories. You will lead the Optimization & Troubleshooting Laboratory, drive technology transfer, process development, manufacturing support and continuous improvement within our Technical Operations organization.

The role requires a PhD and at least 5 years in process development or manufacturing support, with strong leadership and GMP experience. English and French fluency are essential, German advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• PhD required or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process development, manufacturing support, tech transfer or industrial chemistry.
• Proven leadership experience in laboratory, technical, manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, root-cause investigations and process optimization.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach and develop a team of laboratory professionals with a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate activities supporting technology transfers, process familiarization, scale-up and new product introductions.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness through process optimization and generation of critical process knowledge.
• Provide scientific and technical support to manufacturing operations and strategic product introductions.
• Lead investigations of deviations, yield losses, quality events and manufacturing challenges.
• Drive RCA, risk assessments, FMEAs and corrective actions.
• Promote technical excellence by identifying innovative technologies and digitalization opportunities.
• Ensure GMP, HSE and quality requirements with robust documentation.
