TPS Group, via Aviotrace Swiss in Mendrisio, is seeking a Ground Instructor to join its Training Academy in the aerospace sector. You will deliver hands-on aircraft maintenance training in the hangar and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

The role requires AML or relevant maintenance experience, excellent English, and the ability to assess student performance. You will travel to international client sites and support a diverse, multi-country student body.

The Opportunity:

Aviotrace Swiss, a TPS Group company operating in the aerospace sector, is looking for a Ground Instructor to join its Training Academy, which sprovides training for aircraft maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver practical aircraft maintenance training modules in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Conduct training activities directly in the hangar.
• Grade examinations and assess students’ acquired skills and competencies.
• Manage back-office activities and administrative tasks required by the Training Academy.
• Support training activities for students from different countries.
• Travel to international clients’ sites for short- and medium-term training assignments.

Key Requirements:

• Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) or previous experience in aircraft maintenance or aerospace manufacturing.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, reliability and a high level of professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in technical training or aviation instruction.
• Familiarity with regulations and procedures applicable to aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to interact effectively with international students and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.

Work Location:

Mendrisio, Canton Ticino, Switzerland.
