Job summary

Julius Baer is seeking a Programme Manager for the Talent Development Programmes team to own the global Graduate Programme. You will attract, develop and retain top university talent, shaping the next generation of professionals in alignment with the bank’s strategy.

You will co-lead the programme in close collaboration with regions and HR, lead the life cycle from recruitment to placement, and design the curriculum while engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in Banking & Finance/Business Administration or Pedagogy/Teaching/Psychology.
• 3–5 years’ experience as Graduate Programme manager or HR/L&D in a global organisation.
• Fluent in English and German; French or Italian a plus.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead Julius Baer’s Graduate Programme globally with Regions, business units and HR.
• Develop the programme globally in line with Bank strategy and demand.
• Manage the Graduate life cycle: attraction, recruiting, onboarding, rotation, development, placement.
• Serve as trusted coach and main contact for Graduates and line managers.
• Design, implement and evaluate the learning curriculum for Graduates and HR processes.
• Plan and participate in university marketing, representing Julius Baer as employer of choice.
• Lead and communicate the programme to internal and external stakeholders.
• Review progress and implement improvements for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Engage in other learning & development initiatives within Julius Baer Academy.

As a Programme Manager in the Talent Development Programmes team at the Julius Baer Academy, you will take ownership for our global Graduate Programme. You will play a key role in developing the next generation of professionals and strengthening the internal talent pipeline, fully aligned with Julius Baer’s strategic ambitions and evolving business needs.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Co-lead Julius Baer’s Graduate Programme globally in close collaboration with all regions, business units and HR
• Further develop the programme on a global level in line with the Bank’s strategy and business demand
• Drive the entire Graduate life cycle (talent attraction, recruiting, onboarding, rotation planning, development, final placement)
• Act as trusted coach and primary point of contact for Graduates and line managers
• Design, implement and evaluate the learning curriculum for Graduates and take responsibility for HR-related processes and tasks
• Plan and participate in university marketing activities, representing Julius Baer as an employer of choice
• Act as a key contact person, leading, promoting and communicating the Graduate Programme to internal and external stakeholders
• Constantly review and evaluate the progress of the programme, propose and implement improvements in terms of effectiveness and efficiency
• Actively engage in other learning & development initiatives or projects of the Julius Baer Academy

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree or equivalent qualification in Banking & Finance/Business Administration or in Pedagogy/Teaching/Psychology
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ working experience as a Graduate Programme manager or in a similar HR/Learning & Development role within a global organisation
• Proven competency in talent development, in the design of learning journeys, curriculum development and programme management
• HR consulting and advisory skills, with passion to support and accompany young talents on their learning journey
• Both conceptual capabilities and execution power, good project management skills
• Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate successfully with various internal and external stakeholders on all levels of the organisation
• Good presentation skills to host training sessions, workshops, or meetings
• Business acumen and strong interest in private banking
• Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), experience with learning management systems is a plus
• Fluent in English and German (verbally and written), French or Italian is an advantage
