Helvetica Partners in Geneva is seeking a Documentary Credits Officer to join our international banking team. You will process and execute documentary trade finance transactions for an assigned client portfolio, including import/export letters of credit, collections and guarantees.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience in documentary credits, strong knowledge of trade finance, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in documentary credits within a bank.
• Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of documentary trade finance transactions.
• Good understanding of the rules and practices governing documentary credits.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Precise, rigorous and detail-oriented.

Aufgaben

• Process and ensure the timely, accurate and efficient execution of customers' and correspondents' instructions relating to documentary credit transactions.
• Handle Import & Export Letters of Credit, documentary collections, commercial guarantees and related trade finance instruments.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients, Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain regular and professional communication with clients in collaboration with Relationship Managers.
• Ensure effective communication regarding changes or developments resulting from documentary transactions.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors when required to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules and procedures relating to documentary trade finance.
