Global Supply Chain Program Manager Electronics (f/m/d) - 100%

Kistler is the global market leader in dynamic measurement technology. We develop innovative sensor systems and measurement solutions that help shape the future of industrial manufacturing, mobility, and research. Founded in Switzerland in 1959, Kistler employs more than 2,000 people at over 60 locations worldwide who are passionate about delivering technological excellence for our customers. Innovators work with Kistler.

As Global Supply Chain Program Manager Electronics, you will play a key role in driving structure, transparency, and execution excellence across Kistler's global electronics product portfolio. Acting as the central interface between Product Management, R&D, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations, you will ensure that new product introductions and lifecycle projects are managed with consistent governance, clear milestones, effective supplier engagement, and supply chain readiness. In this highly visible global role, you will establish standards, create transparency across project portfolios, develop scalable processes, and ensure that supply chain requirements are integrated early and effectively throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your contribution will be instrumental in enabling successful product launches, mitigating risks, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration across our global organization.

Global Supply Chain Program Manager Electronics (f/m/d) - 100%

Your typical day
  • Lead the global supply chain workstream across a portfolio of electronics product development and lifecycle projects, ensuring supply chain readiness from concept phase through industrialization, product launch, serial production, and end-of-life management.
  • Establish project governance, transparency, and standardized methodologies across product lifecycle projects, ensuring consistent milestone management, reporting structures, decision-making processes, and execution standards worldwide.
  • Act as the key interface between development teams, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions, ensuring early alignment, efficient collaboration, and seamless integration of supply chain requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Define and execute sourcing and supplier strategies together with Strategic Procurement, including supplier selection, qualification, onboarding, early supplier involvement, and readiness for prototypes, pilot builds, production ramp-ups, and serial manufacturing.
  • Drive industrialization and manufacturing readiness activities, ensuring structured transitions from development projects into serial operations across global production locations.
  • Own and maintain the global project portfolio dashboard and reporting framework, providing management visibility on project status, milestone adherence, supply readiness, supplier performance, cost development, risk exposure, and escalation topics.
  • Lead lifecycle risk management activities, proactively identifying and mitigating component obsolescence risks, single-source dependencies, capacity constraints, long lead times, and supply continuity risks.
  • Develop lifecycle, sourcing, and phase-in/phase-out strategies for critical components and suppliers to ensure long-term supply continuity and successful product transitions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and global standardization initiatives across Product Management, R&D, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations, strengthening launch readiness, supply chain resilience, and lifecycle performance.
