The World Health Organization (WHO) Internship Programme offers students and recent graduates a pathway to gain exposure to international public health work at WHO offices worldwide. Interns develop professional skills while supporting technical and administrative programmes.

Internships are full-time, last 6 to 24 weeks, and may provide a living allowance, insurance coverage, and opportunities to build global health networks.

Qualifikationen

• Age: Applicants must be at least 20 years old on the date of application.
• Education: Applicants must be enrolled in a university or equivalent leading to an undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate qualification.
• Study Requirement: Applicants must have completed at least three years of full-time university-level study before starting the internship.
• Language: Applicants must be fluent in at least one working language of the office where the WHO internship is based.
• Nationality: Applicants must hold a valid passport from a WHO Member State.
• Family Relationship: Applicants must not be closely related to a WHO staff member, such as a parent, sibling or child.
• Previous Internship: Candidates must not have previously participated in the WHO Internship Programme.
