Zusammenfassung

Roche is expanding its Project Management Chapter with two Global Project Managers who will lead high-impact product development and automation projects across the diagnostics portfolio.

You will guide complex initiatives from concept through completion, designing structures, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timelines, resources, and budgets are aligned for optimal delivery.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical or natural sciences.
  • 3–5 years of PM experience.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile (SAFe/Hybrid) environments.
  • Proficiency with MS Office/Google Suite and PM tools (Azure DevOps, Monday.com, Planisware).
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); German is beneficial.

Aufgaben

  • Build and manage project, program, and product structures for development and product-care activities.
  • Develop integrated project plans including dependencies, resource allocation, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure high project quality through scenario planning, KPI/OKR tracking, and risk management.
  • Prepare and support milestone and capacity reviews.
  • Select appropriate project methodologies and coach teams in agile and hybrid practices.
  • Facilitate meetings, promote knowledge sharing, and strengthen team dynamics.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and delays early and propose actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Sub-Chapter Leads, Finance, Portfolio Management, Analytics & Insights, and other partners.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement within the Project Management Chapter.

Within our Project Management Chapter, we are expanding our team with two Global Project Managers who will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑impact product development and automation projects across our diagnostics portfolio.

In this position, you will guide complex initiatives from early concept through completion. You will design project structures, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure that timelines, resources, and budgets are aligned for optimal delivery. Acting as a strategic partner, you help the organization respond quickly and effectively to evolving business needs.

Tasks
  • Build and manage project, program, and product structures for development and product‑care activities

  • Ensure high project quality through scenario planning, critical path analysis, KPI/OKR tracking, and risk management
  • Prepare and support milestone and capacity reviews

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical or natural sciences
  • Specialized expertise (one of the two required):
Assay Development + Software Engineering

Proven hands‑on experience in assay

development combined with a strong foundation in software engineering

Lab Automation + Biochemistry/Chemistry

Demonstrated experience in laboratory

automation within biochemistry and chemistry

  • At least 3–5 years of PM experience
  • Solid experience with Waterfall and Agile (SAFe/Hybrid) environments
  • Strong command of MS Office/Google Suite and PM tools such as Azure DevOps, Monday.com, or Planisware
  • Fluent English (written & spoken); German beneficial
