Rockwell Automation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead customer projects from order receipt to final acceptance. This role focuses on project leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial execution across a multinational design team.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage third-party vendors, monitor schedule, budget and risk, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of proven project management experience delivering projects for external customers.
• Fluency in English, German, and French.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial automation.
• Experience managing multiple medium-sized customer projects in a matrix organization.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills in an international environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Visio, and SharePoint.
• Working knowledge of PMI or IPMA project management methodologies and standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead the execution of assigned projects while achieving customer schedule, margin, and quality objectives.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Forecast and report project resource requirements and financial performance.
• Apply advanced project management principles, tools, and scheduling techniques.
• Support the development and execution of strategic business initiatives.
• Manage individual projects or a portfolio of up to 20 concurrent projects.
• Administer subcontractors and suppliers, including labor-based and fixed-price deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage change orders and contract variations with customer representatives.
• Ensure project documentation, administration, and records are complete and maintained in accordance with company standards.
• Coach and support less experienced engineers and project team members.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within project execution processes.
• Coordinate and schedule resources to meet project objectives and delivery commitments.
