World Health Organization in Geneva invites applications for a Technical Officer (WHO Collaborating Centres) at Grade P3. The role combines technical guidance, programme management and network coordination to strengthen WHO's Collaborating Centre framework.

You will lead strategic partnerships, coordinate global and regional meetings, and develop knowledge materials to support evidence-based governance. Fluency in English and experience in international health contexts are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Essential: at least five years of experience in programme management, governance, partnership coordination and stakeholder engagement in an international setting.
• Desirable: experience coordinating global or regional events or networks at WHO or with international partners.
• Knowledge of WHO policies, governance processes would be an asset.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical and programme management support to the Global Focal Point for WHO Collaborating Centres.
• Coordinate networks of WHO Collaborating Centres across programmes and regions, fostering collaboration and alignment with WHO priorities.
• Develop and implement partnerships for WHO Collaborating Centres, including regional networks and twinning arrangements.
• Plan, coordinate and evaluate global and regional meetings, consultations and forums with WHO Collaborating Centres.
• Analyse, synthesize and disseminate information and prepare technical reports and monitoring frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance and QA for designation, redesignation and monitoring of WHO Collaborating Centres.
• Identify and recommend improvements to governance processes and digital platforms for Centre networks.
• Lead collection, analysis and reporting of Centre contributions to GPW14 objectives and prepare annual analytical reports.
• Support governing bodies’ resolutions and coordination with stakeholders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
