Zusammenfassung

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Trade Specialist in Sea Logistics to help develop and execute trade strategies across Transpacific Eastbound lanes. You will work with regional teams in Europe, Singapore, and North America to drive volume growth, carrier performance and commercial excellence while aligning with key stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytical skills, relationship-building, and the ability to deliver results in a globally connected environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sea freight or related logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of international ocean freight operations (FCL/LCL, import/export).
• Proven commercial acumen with experience negotiating with carriers or suppliers.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and identify trends.
• Experience supporting tenders, RFQs, pricing activities or procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; market intel platform familiarity is a plus.
• Fluent English; German/French or other European languages a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support execution of trade strategies and daily activities across the assigned trade lane across regions.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipping lines and carriers to secure favorable commercial terms.
• Conduct QBRs with carriers and monitor performance; resolve escalations.
• Coordinate RFQ and tender activities ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze market trends and carrier performance to identify opportunities for strategic decisions.
• Prepare reports and insights for internal stakeholders to support trade reviews.
• Collaborate with sales, pricing, allocation and operations to drive volume and trade performance.
• Manage trade information platforms and reporting tools, tracking carrier allocations and contract commitments.
