MCM WORLDWIDE in Switzerland (Zug) seeks a Global Manager Accounting & Consolidation to lead IFRS-compliant reporting, consolidation, and process improvements across regional finance teams. The role focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and strategic financial insight.

You will supervise the global chart of accounts in SAP, support budgeting and forecasting, and partner with regional teams to optimize performance for the luxury fashion group.

Qualifikationen

• Higher degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or consolidation in a multinational setting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with SAP and Workday Adaptive or similar consolidation tools.
• Comfort with data visualization/BI tools is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Reporting to the Global Director Accounting & Consolidation, the Global Manager Accounting & Consolidation will play a critical role in supporting MCM’s global finance operations by providing actionable financial insights, ensuring accurate reporting and consolidation, and driving process improvement initiatives. This role will act as a trusted business partner to regional teams, supporting key decision-making processes and aligning financial operations with MCM’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly closing and consolidation process of global financial results, ensuring compliance with IFRS as well as internal reporting and closing processes.
• Review and validate financial submissions from subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for the Executive Board, including analysis and commentary on performance trends and variances.
• Act as Supervisor and Administrator of the global chart of accounts and of cost/profit centers in SAP as well as of the Group Finance Manual.
• Support the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with regional finance teams.
• Provide analysis to ensure alignment between global financial goals and regional performance.
• Act as a financial business partner for assigned regions and functions, providing insights and recommendations to optimize performance.
• Analyze key financial metrics, trends, and variances to identify risks and opportunities.
• Drive improvements in reporting and consolidation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required.

Requirements

• A higher degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• More than 5 years experience in financial analysis, reporting, or consolidation in a multi-national company (preferably in the luxury, retail, or fashion sectors)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS;
• Very strong knowledge of SAP and of Microsoft Excel as well as experience with consolidation and reporting tools (e.g. Workday Adaptive)
• Experience with data visualization and BI tools is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.

This position is based full-time in office.
