Job summary

Global Roles seeks a Senior Business Analyst to lead analysis and harmonization of business, legal, regulatory and operational requirements for the Global Intellectual Property Assignment Platform (GIPAP). You will translate complex multi-jurisdictional needs into capabilities and data models for technical delivery teams.

You will coordinate with IP offices, owners, practitioners and industry groups, influence across legal and technical functions, and ensure successful adoption of solutions

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent combination of IP law, IT or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in IP administration.
• Experience leading cross-jurisdictional business analysis and digital modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business, legal, regulatory and operational requirements across jurisdictions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and harmonize assignment and recordation processes for global scalability.
• Lead consultations with IP offices, owners, practitioners and associations; build consensus and drive adoption of GIPAP.
• Translate multi-jurisdictional requirements into business capabilities, user journeys and system requirements for delivery teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to design and continually improve IP assignment and recordation solutions.
• Coordinate validation, acceptance criteria, UAT and monitor business outcomes and benefits.
• Prepare analyses and presentations for stakeholders and monitor best practices in digital service delivery.
• Perform other related duties as required.
