Zusammenfassung

Oerlikon Group is seeking a seasoned procurement professional in Switzerland to lead policy development and strategic sourcing across OSS Equipment procurement. You will steer implementation of group directives for materials, e-procurement, supplier quality, and system tools to optimize purchasing functions.

The role requires strong English, German conversational ability, and experience in complex, matrix organizations. Travel for shorter and longer stays abroad is expected as part of the role.

Qualifikationen

• Technical or business education with professional training in purchasing or supply chain management.
• CIPS or similar certifications would be an advantage.
• At least 5 years of industry and job-specific management experience, including 3 years in the subject area.
• Experience in complex matrix organizations and ERP systems.

• Determine OSS Equipment Procurement policy and strategy aligned with management directives.
• Implement group directives for direct materials, e-procurement, organization, supplier quality, tools and systems.
• Manage and develop an effective procurement organization.
• Identify and manage global category management teams.
• Ensure efficient use of existing eProcurement systems.
• Define, harmonize and optimize purchasing processes.
• Set and monitor purchasing objectives.
• Cost responsibility of the procurement department.

Your responsibilities

• Determination of the OSS Equipment Procurement policy and strategy in alignment with segment management and group directives
• Implementation of group directives concerning direct materials, e-procurement, organization, supplier quality, tools and systems
• Management and further development of an effective procurement organization
• Identification, initialization and management of global category management teams
• Ensure efficient use of existing eProcurement systems
• Definition, harmonization and optimization of relevant purchasing processes
• Definition and monitoring of the purchasing objectives
• Cost responsibility of the procurement department

Your profile

• Technical or business education with professional training in purchasing or supply chain management; CIPS or similar certifications would be an advantage
• At least 5 years of industry and job-specific management experience, including 3 years in the subject area
• Sound methodical competence in the area of procurement
• Work experience in complex matrix organizations
• Long-term experience in the use of state-of-the-art ERP systems (SAP)
• Business fluent in English, conversational level in German required; working knowledge of German is a plus
• Excellent negotiation skills and diplomacy
• Excellent presentation and social skills to build collaborations across departments
• Willingness to travel for shorter and longer stays abroad
