Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Director-level leader to shape Takeda's financial communications strategy and steers how growth is communicated to shareholders, analysts, and employees. You will partner with the CFO and Finance Leadership Team to ensure clear, compelling narratives across earnings, annual reporting, and investor communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, finance or related field.
• 12 years of communications, investor relations, finance or related experience, preferably within biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with a Japan-based global company and the Tokyo capital markets is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, shareholder dynamics, investor relations practices, disclosure requirements and governance considerations.
• Experience counseling senior executives, including CEOs and CFOs, on investor communications and executive visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead Takeda's global financial communications strategy and enterprise-wide coordination.
• Advise the CFO and Finance Leadership Team on executive communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Spearhead Global Finance internal communications and partner with Investor Relations across regions.
• Oversee communications for earnings, investor events, annual reporting and shareholder materials.
• Define and lead retail shareholder engagement strategies and monitor sentiment.
