Job summary

Rieter, a leading Swiss textile technology company, seeks a Components and Technology Controller to support monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will collaborate closely with Business Units and finance stakeholders to provide financial insights and drive performance improvements.

The role focuses on developing controlling tools, dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance, and supporting month-end and year-end closings and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Economics or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in controlling, FP&A, finance, accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Experience with variance analysis, financial modelling and performance management.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SAP and BI/tools are advantageous.
• Fluent English; German is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial and controlling reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Perform variance analyses and explain deviations.
• Monitor financial performance and advise BU heads and CFOs.
• Develop and maintain controlling tools, dashboards and reports.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance with policies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing with Accounting and stakeholders.
• Assist audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests.
• Collaborate with Group Controlling, Tax, Treasury and Reporting teams.
• Participate in process improvements to boost reporting efficiency.
