Job summary

Gi Group (United Kingdom) is seeking a qualified professional to develop and execute global Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) and Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) strategies within Basel-based clinical development programs. You will own COA strategy documents, guide instrument selection and interpretation, and lead cross-functional COA initiatives across vendors and internal stakeholders.

The role requires a Master’s (PhD preferred) with at least 5 years in HEOR/COA/PRO, strong regulatory and HTA

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Life Sciences, Psychology, or related field; PhD preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of HEOR/Outcomes Research or COA/PRO in pharma/healthcare.
• Strong expertise in COA/PRO, instrument validation, psychometrics, and outcomes research.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global COA and PRO strategies across clinical development programs.
• Own and maintain COA Strategy Documents, including validation activities and regulatory/HTA milestones.
• Provide guidance on COA/PRO endpoints and instruments throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional COA projects and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee COA validation activities including content validity, psychometric validation, and score interpretation.
• Support COA data analysis and regulatory submissions, HTA dossiers, publications, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and best practices for COA/PRO research.
