Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in German Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communications, or a related field.
• Native or near-native German proficiency with strong Germany locale conventions.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (reading/writing) for prompts and evaluation guidelines.
• 5+ years of professional localization/translation experience.
• Demonstrated ability with MQM/LQA concepts to produce quality decisions.
• Proficient with CAT tools and QA workflows; comfortable with structured guidelines.
• Outstanding editorial judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to rigorously fact-check localized content using reliable sources.
• Willingness to work as an hourly contractor across time zones.
• Location requirement: based in Germany.
