Job summary

AurigaVision AG in Switzerland seeks a Generative AI / Machine Learning Engineer (PhD) to lead AI initiatives across functions. You will architect enterprise LLM solutions, including RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and model selection, while guiding data science and AI engineering teams.

Candidates should have healthcare exposure, strong Python and DL skills, dashboard building with Dash/Streamlit/Shiny, and cloud experience with Databricks/Dataiku.

Qualifications

• PhD in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• 3–5 years programming experience in Python, SQL, R, MATLAB and DL frameworks (PyTorch, Keras).
• Extensive ML experience, healthcare industry preferred, LLM fine-tuning/training (ChatGPT, BERT, LLaMA, Dolly).
• Strong dashboard/web app skills with Dash/Streamlit/Shiny.
• Experience with cloud platforms and AI/ML platforms (Databricks, Dataiku).
• ≥2 years designing modular multi-agent systems and enterprise-grade LLM architectures.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and steer generative AI roadmap aligning with business priorities.
• Architect enterprise-ready LLM solutions, including prompt engineering and prototypes.
• Lead AI engineering, data science, and development teams for high-quality delivery.
• Build and optimize LLM-based systems (RAG, fine-tuned models, multi-agent architectures).
• Shape ML ecosystem: feature stores, model repos, and MLOps workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to iteratively deliver AI solutions and educate teams.
