Job summary

Apple’s European Vision Group in Zurich is seeking a researcher/machine learning engineer to shape the future of 3D representations and generative modeling for Apple products. You will design and evaluate ML algorithms that model complex 3D content, accelerating development cycles with innovative monitoring tools.

The role emphasizes deep knowledge of ML, 3D geometry and generative models, plus strong Python/PyTorch skills.

Qualifications

In-depth understanding of Machine Learning principles.
In-depth understanding of 3D Geometry, 3D representations, and Computer Vision.
Strong understanding of generative models and multi-modal foundation models.
Experience in Python, deep learning and data analysis frameworks (PyTorch, pandas, and similar).
Experience in large scale projects with good software development principles.
Scientific mindset and data-driven approach to problem solving.
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
Willingness to pick up novel tasks and acquire new skills.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, evaluate, and improve machine learning algorithms that model 3D content in complex and diverse scenarios.
Design innovative tools to develop, monitor and improve the quality of our models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research outcomes into Apple products.
