Job summary

ABB Smart Power in Quartino, Switzerland, seeks a General Manager to run the Critical Power manufacturing facility. You will oversee Production, Engineering, Planning & Fulfillment, Quality, Logistics, Service and HR, and be accountable for P&L and project EBIT.

Leading a high-performing team, you’ll drive safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity targets, develop processes, and ensure on-time, on-margin project execution while delivering customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering or Business studies.
• 10–15 years in operations/manufacturing.
• Experience with factory operations, production planning, SAP, workforce and vendor management.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Production, Engineering, Planning & Fulfillment, Quality & Operational Excellence, Logistics, Service and HR.
• Deliver 4C targets: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity.
• Drive on-time/on-margin project execution and EBIT/cash.
